UBA-NextGen
UBA's NextGen account is specifically designed for the Gen Z demographic in Africa and helps young adults navigate the transition to financial independence. The account is cool, trendy, and a valuable resource for building savings and managing money effectively. As one of Africa's largest banks, UBA is a trusted partner for young adults as they build their financial independence.
We were tasked with refreshing an unpopular youth banking brand for UBA, our client. Our goal was to make it trendy and attractive to the Gen Z population.
To achieve this, we implemented a comprehensive marketing campaign that included research, naming, ad design, and packaging. Our 360 marketing campaign included various tactics to reach the target audience and communicate the central message: that with a NextGen account, people can build their savings, manage their money effectively, and grow with the account through their youth.
We have signed the music group DRB LasGidi as part of our marketing campaign for UBA's NextGen account. Known as the face of the Alté subculture in Nigeria, DRB LasGidi embodies the NextGen lifestyle of self-confidence and individuality.
Their unique style and music make them the perfect representation of the NextGen brand.
The campaign was successful in revitalizing the brand and making it more appealing to the Gen Z demographic.
